Ripley is the puppy equivalent of that human you know that is just enthusiastic about everything, a “cool this is fun, I’m in!” kind of guy. If it’s nap time he will nap with full belly-up enthusiasm.

When it’s play time, he is a fearless explorer with an adventurous streak. He absolutely loves playing ball and will chase a ball and then prance around carrying it very proudly.

Ripley loves social time too. He is full of wiggles and joy meeting new people and dogs; He seems confident that everyone is going to be happy to see him. If his people are in eyesight, he would prefer to be snuggled up right in your lap but will cheerfully make up games with his toys when his people are busy.

He would likely love a dog friend in his home, one who could match his playful enthusiasm and delight in the world. Ripley has a good grasp of outdoors being the right time to go to the bathroom and is continuing to make progress on his house breaking. He will give a whimper to warn when he needs to go number two and would prefer an opportunity to pee outside as well and will go right away when his paws hit the grass.

Ripley looks like an all-black puppy in photos but when the sunlight hits him he’s got the most beautiful brown and grey tones to his fur.
