Valentina is a 5–6 month old mix who has quickly decided that the "indoor life" is the life for her. While she was the calmest of her siblings in Puerto Rico, she has a wonderful zest for life and a focused, independent nature that makes her a joy to watch as she navigates the world.

Personality & Confidence Valentina is a girl who knows what she likes! She is a "thinker"—independent and focused, she enjoys figuring things out on her own. Though she is generally a calm pup, she definitely has her playful puppy moments and plenty of energy for games. She is a smart, food-motivated learner who already knows the command "Sit". Her eager-to-please nature makes her a fantastic candidate for families who enjoy reward-based training.

Social Life & Comforts While she is friendly with other dogs, Valentina is truly a "people person". She loves the company of her humans and has quickly discovered the perks of a modern home. If there is a comfy couch, a pile of pillows, or a soft blanket, you can bet Valentina is right in the middle of it. She is a master of the "long winter's nap" and successfully sleeps through the night.

Skills & Adventure Valentina is a bit of a mountaineer! She has a unique love for climbing on things to get a better view of her surroundings. She is also doing exceptionally well with her house manners and is very reliable about going to the bathroom outside. She is currently working on her leash-walking skills and would love a family that can continue to guide her as she explores New York on her walks.
